I Miss Cleaning Homes... sigh
As crazy as this may sound to some people, cleaning homes was therapy for me.
I miss it.
I miss walking into a home that needs a little love, putting on my gloves, turning on my music, and getting to work. There was something incredibly satisfying about seeing the transformation happen right in front of me.
But more than anything, I miss my clients.
I miss the smiles on their faces when they came home three hours later and opened the door to that fresh, clean smell.
I miss the little things—the freshly cleaned kitchens, the spotless bathrooms, the floors that looked brand new, and the feeling of knowing that I had made someone's day just a little easier.
And I definitely miss the kids.
Those little voices behind the door:
"CHEVY IS HERE!!!"
That will forever make me smile.
I miss the conversations, too. We could talk about absolutely anything. Politics, relationships, work, family, food, television, business, life, or some completely random topic that somehow turned into a two-hour conversation.
Cleaning wasn't just about cleaning for me.
It was about people.
It was about trust. Someone was allowing me into their personal space and trusting me to take care of their home. I took pride in that.
There was also something therapeutic about the physical work. When life felt overwhelming, cleaning gave me something I could control. I could walk into a room that was chaotic and, a few hours later, leave it organized, fresh, and peaceful.
Sometimes you need that feeling in your own life.
You need to be able to look around and say:
"I made this better."
That's what cleaning gave me.
And maybe that's why I miss it so much.
I miss the work.
I miss the people.
I miss the conversations.
I miss the laughter.
I miss the satisfaction of a job well done.
Most of all, I miss hearing those words:
"Chevy is here!"
Maybe cleaning homes was never just a job for me.
Maybe it really was therapy with a mop, a vacuum, some cleaning supplies, and a whole lot of conversation.
And honestly?
I think I'm ready to feel that again.
THANK YOU FOR MY TRUMP ACCOUNT!!! "I GOT THIS"...
I Got This
“I got this.”
You ain’t said nothing to me but a word. 😂
Sometimes all I need is a little confirmation, a little encouragement, and then I’m off to the races.
Give me three months.
In three months, I’m going to be tailored—and I’m not talking about a suit. I’m talking about my life, my business, my mindset, my finances, my appearance, my goals… everything.
I’m putting things in order.
I’m tightening up what needs tightening.
I’m letting go of what no longer serves me.
I’m building what I said I was going to build.
So when you see me three months from now, don’t ask what happened.
I got this.
You ain’t said nothing to me but a word. And sometimes that’s all the confirmation I need. 💯
Watch me work.
Three months.
I’ll be tailored.
