Building an Empire Takes Time

For those of you who don’t understand… let me say this clearly:

Building an empire is not overnight.

It takes time.
It takes planning.
But most importantly it takes patience.

Right now, I’m in a powerful place in my journey. I’ve laid the foundation of my business, and that alone is something to be proud of. A lot of people talk about starting… few actually do the work to get it off the ground.

Now I’m stepping into the next phase:

Building business credit

Establishing lines of credit

Applying for loans and grants

This is where structure meets strategy.

After funding comes alignment connecting with the right food vendors to ensure I deliver nothing but quality. Because my name will be attached to everything I serve, and excellence is not optional.

Then comes the people.

Hiring.
Training.
Building a team that understands the vision.

My prayer is simple but bold:
To be fully operational within the next 120 days.

The Grind Behind the Vision

While I’m building, I’m not waiting.

I’m moving.

I’m planning to host pop-up food tastings—real experiences, real people, real feedback. I’m ordering my tent, bringing on part-time staff, and getting outside.

I’m collecting dates for every food truck event I can find.
I’m preparing for permits, licensing, and positioning.

And yes… I plan to sell food.

Simple plates.
Real flavor.
Just enough to get on the map.

Because every empire starts with one plate, one customer, one moment.

This Summer Is Different

This summer?

It’s going to be filled with:

Smiles

Laughter

Love

Excitement

And growth.

But let me be honest… last week, I burned myself out. I was pushing hard trying to meet deadlines that weren’t even in my control.

That moment taught me something valuable:

You can’t rush what GOD is building.

And when I slowed down… when I got still… clarity came.

The Question That Changed Me

I asked myself something real:

“If I’m remembered for one thing… what would it be?”

And the answer wasn’t money.
It wasn’t fame.
It wasn’t recognition.

GOD answered me:

“Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

Final Thoughts

So if you’re watching me… wondering what I’m doing… or why I’m moving the way I move…

Understand this:

I’m not just building a business.
I’m building something that will last.

And I’m doing it with intention, faith, and patience.

Because empires aren’t rushed…
They’re built.
