Re: Intent to File Civil Action
Dear Ms. Robinson,
This letter serves as my formal Notice of Intent to Sue.
Injury and Medical Harm
On July 20, 2025, you shared a vape device with me that was contaminated with saliva. By July 24, 2025, I experienced severe symptoms, including the presence of blood after using the restroom. You later admitted that the blood was yours, confirming exposure to an illness and/or virus. As a direct result of your willful and reckless actions, I suffered grave illness, incurred medical expenses, missed work time, and became subject to disciplinary actions at Hilton Grand Vacations.
Harassment and Emotional Distress
On August 4, 2025, you harassed me for more than five hours via text while I was seeking medical care. Your conduct caused escalating mental, emotional, and psychological distress and contributed to a hostile work environment.
Additionally, your ongoing actions and false statements have damaged my professional reputation and created circumstances that forced me to reconsider my employment.
Damages
I am seeking $25,000 in damages for:
Medical bills and related costs
Mental, emotional, and psychological distress
Loss of income and employment-related harm
Damage to my professional reputation
If this matter is not resolved, I will proceed with filing a lawsuit within 10 days from the date of this letter.
Workplace Retaliation, Defamation, and Hostile Conditions
Please be advised that a formal complaint was filed with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) on September 27, 2025.
I have repeatedly reported your harassment, intimidation, threats, and hostile conduct. After I informed you of my intent to seek damages for the off-duty injury you caused, you relayed this information to Denise Edghill and management in what appears to be a deliberate attempt to sabotage my job and trigger termination.
After I initially reported your harassment—including sexual solicitation, offers of sex in Ghana, and statements that you could “sleep with management” to keep your job—I was issued a final written warning instead of being protected.
On September 19, 2025, I sent you a notice regarding my intent to sue for medical-related damages. Instead of addressing your misconduct, HR representative Denise Edghill contacted me under the guise of follow-up but attempted to discipline me and advocate on your behalf.
Shortly after, you falsely accused me of driving past your home. I do not own or operate any vehicle, and this fabricated allegation was clearly made to portray me as threatening or stalking in order to jeopardize my employment.
On September 30, 2025, I was terminated due to the slander and lies you initiated and spread.
My off-duty communication with you on September 19, 2025, was strictly legal in nature, related to damages caused by your contaminated vape device, and had no connection to my work performance.
Defamation Under Nevada Law
Under NRS 200.510, slander consists of false and malicious statements that harm another’s reputation, employment, trade, or standing. Under NRS 200.560, libel applies to knowingly publishing false statements intended to damage someone’s character or livelihood.
Your knowingly false allegations imply unlawful or threatening behavior and directly interfered with my employment. These statements constitute defamation per se because they harmed my profession and employability.
Retaliation, Escalation, and Reporting
I have contacted legal aid, the Department of Labor, the unemployment office, and the EEOC. My repeated reports of harassment, bullying, defamation, and retaliation have largely been ignored. Your actions and false statements ultimately resulted in unwarranted disciplinary actions and termination.
Be advised that any further retaliation or attempts to damage my employment or reputation will only strengthen my legal claims for defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, retaliation, and personal injury.
You have 10 days from the date of this notice to resolve this matter. If not, I will proceed with filing suit without further notice.
