TOXIC BEHAVIORS

In toxic workplaces, Black women are 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱, 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱, 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 by their leaders to destroy their careers.

Am I right?

Truth is, I already know I am from personal experience.

As Kyle continued screaming at me, I was trembling. He said I could lose my job! And I was so confused. He was copied on the email Dr. Romano sent instructing me to fix all the errors before the auditors arrived. If he knew I wasn't supposed to do that, why didn't he say something when it could've made a difference?

❝You were copied on the email telling me to fix the errors,❞ I said, trying to explain. ❝Why didn't you tell me not to correct—❞

A new sexually transmitted FUNGUS — not a virus, not bacteria, a FUNGUS — is spreading through Atlanta and Houston like wildfire. And Black women? We catching it the WORST. Why? This fungus WORSE than HIV in some ways. At least HIV you can manage. This? This DON'T DIE easy. It spreads through sex, through skin contact, through the very intimacy we supposed to trust. And the DL men? They ain't telling. They ain't testing. They ain't stopping.

So who protecting Black women? Nobody. We protecting ourselves. Or we dying.

Wake up. Pay attention. Get tested. Ask questions. And STOP sleeping with men who won't tell you where they been. Your life depend on it.
