Adjustment to the Government Shutdown
The beautiful 😍 thing about being free from a long-term lease is that I can adjust my living to my circumstances. Flexibility is freedom, and I’ve learned to embrace it fully.
Right now, I’m gainfully employed, but because of that, I no longer qualify for EBT not that I haven’t used it before. Some haters tried to sabotage my accounts, but honestly, I have no hard feelings either way. Life moves on.
Recently, I was renting a room for $500 a month. Sounds reasonable, right? But for me, privacy is priceless and I wasn’t getting that. So, I made a new move: back into a cheap weekly rental for $250 until I can build my money toward what I really want. It’s not a step backward it’s a strategic adjustment.
And for those who keep asking why I haven’t purchased a car… let me say this clearly: after two years of living in a car, buying one isn’t a priority. I travel to work and my doctor, and the bus suits me just fine. Simplicity is peace. I don’t need to justify my lifestyl just like you don’t need to justify being high-maintenance.
To anyone out there constantly blaming others for their struggles, it’s time to stop playing the victim and start walking as a VICTOR. 💪🏽 Life isn’t about proving yourself to anyone it’s about creating peace, purpose, and power within yourself.
I’ve started a new job with pay equal to my last role same skills, more destinations. I’m currently in a 60-day probation period, which means I don’t have time for arguments, drama, or distractions. My focus is forward.
So to everyone reading this:
Live your best life, on your terms. Adjust. Adapt. And remember freedom is found in flexibility. 🌻
