I resided in the attic of my grandmothers home. I had a full studio apartment to myself, it was my dance studio, my art studio.
In fact I painted Prince "When Doves Cry" on the wall of the attic. I used to sit in the middle window watching life.
The front porch was my 1st business, where I sold concessions!!!
