A woman from Saginaw County, Michigan, is facing trial after reportedly using her Bridge Card to fund a home bakery business.
According to court records, prosecutors allege she bought baking ingredients using government food benefits, then sold the baked goods on Facebook, earning several thousand dollars in profit.
A Saginaw County judge has sent the case to circuit court for further proceedings. The woman remains free on bond while awaiting trial.

Two children, ages 9 and 10, are facing several serious charges, including attempted murder and rape, after prosecutors say they brutally attacked a 5-year-old A'Marie in Cleveland. The two children have been charged in connection with the assault that occurred last month. Prosecutors say a 9-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl are facing initial charges of attempted murder, rape, felonious assault, kidnapping and strangulation. #JusticeforAmarie
