A woman from Saginaw County, Michigan, is facing trial after reportedly using her Bridge Card to fund a home bakery business.
According to court records, prosecutors allege she bought baking ingredients using government food benefits, then sold the baked goods on Facebook, earning several thousand dollars in profit.
A Saginaw County judge has sent the case to circuit court for further proceedings. The woman remains free on bond while awaiting trial.
