DO NOT TALK TO ME RIGHT NOW!!!

SHE WAS THE JUDGE WHO CONVICTED O.J. SIMPSON #BACKGROUND #FOUNDATION

YOU ARE BLOWING MY MIND!!!

AVERAGING 500-1500 NEW READERS PER DAY!!!

WHAT IS GOD DOING???

YOU GUYS ARE BLOWING MY MIND! 🙏🏽✨

I woke up this morning preparing to make a post, and then I looked at my stats…

1,500 clicks at 7:34 a.m.

Ummm… WHAT IS HAPPENING?! 😂

I’m not even certain what is happening right now, but THANK YOU! ❤️

I know there are many of you who are simply spectators and honestly, that’s cool too. 👀😂

Maybe you're watching because you're curious. Maybe you're trying to figure me out. Maybe you agree with me. Maybe you don't. Maybe you're watching my journey unfold because, at this point, my life story reads like a movie and something is ALWAYS happening!

Whatever brought you here, welcome.

If my story of survival, rebuilding, resilience, and restoration speaks to you then I am grateful.

I've been through seasons where people tried to break me. I've experienced disappointment, loss, setbacks, rejection, and moments when I had to figure out how to put my life back together again.

And yet…

HERE I AM.

Still standing.

Still building.

Still dreaming.

Still believing.

Still becoming.

I'm not exactly sure why my blog has suddenly taken off the way it has, but I can tell you this: something has shifted.

Since Trump Day in Vegas, my ratings have tripled. My favor has increased. My creditworthiness has increased by $3,000 in one month, 3 new credit cards!!! My life is beginning to stabilize.

And I'm paying attention.

Because I believe God speaks through circumstances, opportunities, timing, people, and even unexpected blessings.

I remain simple.

Because at the end of the day, it's not about me.

It's about the GOD in me.

I understand that I'm not everyone's cup of tea. And I'm perfectly okay with that.

I am an independent, self-made, strong Black woman with intelligence, vision, creativity, and a whole lot of life experience.

I'm a unicorn of sorts. 🦄

I don't depend on people to define who I am or whose I am.

God already answered those questions for me.

And honestly, I find it entertaining when people become intimidated by someone's gifts.

I understand why.

When you don't recognize your own gifts, it's easy to envy somebody else's. When you haven't discovered your own purpose, you may find yourself coveting someone else's life.

But here's what I've learned:

Your assignment is not supposed to look like mine.

You don't have to compete with me.

You don't have to understand me.

You don't have to agree with me.

You simply have to discover YOU.

And that's what I'm doing.

I'm thankful for every experience I've had in this life the beautiful ones, the painful ones, the confusing ones, the embarrassing ones, and even the ones I didn't understand at the time.

Every experience has taught me something new about myself.

Every setback taught me resilience.

Every disappointment taught me discernment.

Every closed door taught me patience.

Every victory taught me gratitude.

And every chapter has brought me closer to understanding who I am and what I'm called to do.

So, to everyone who finds my page…

THANK YOU.

Whether you're here to bless me, curse me, support me, criticize me, agree with me, disagree with me, encourage me, question me, or simply watch from the sidelines…

WELCOME.

You are still here.

And if something I write, say, or share touches your life even just once then perhaps there was a reason you found this page.

My prayer is simple:

May something you read here bless your life.

May it give you hope.

May it make you laugh.

May it make you think.

May it challenge you.

May it remind you that your story isn't over.

Because if God can take everything I've survived and turn it into something worth talking about…

He can do the same thing with your story.

So keep watching.

Keep living.

And most importantly…

KEEP GOD FIRST.

Because this story?

It's bigger than me.

🙏🏽❤️🦄

GOD Is Talking… and I Am Here to Listen

Monday, August 31, 2026

GOD is talking… and I am here to listen.

Lately, I have noticed so many events happening around us that have awakened something in my mind: STAY ALERT.

Tornadoes. Earthquakes. Flooding. Natural disasters. Blackouts. Things happening that remind you that tomorrow is never promised and that being prepared is not the same thing as being afraid.

This is one of those moments when I am especially thankful to GOD that I can work from home.

I have my business established. I am building my foundation. I am constantly training and studying, and now I am preparing to take the next four steps: loan signing, estate planning, Apostille training, and fingerprinting classes.

I am also successfully registered with four RON platforms, and I am waiting on my seal and stamp to complete those registrations.

Things are moving.

You might see me once a week—maybe twice—because my days are FULLY accounted for. My new contract begins today, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue building while working from home.

And when I tell you I stocked my cabinets like a squirrel collecting nuts… 😂

I STOCKED UP!

I have cooked every dish I have wanted. Italian? Easy. Mexican? Easy. Asian? Easy.

There is something incredibly peaceful about opening your refrigerator and knowing you have food, supplies, and the ability to take care of yourself.

And here is another blessing:

I am 72 hours without wine.

Don't start cheering yet!! 😂

I'm taking it one day at a time.

But something has changed.

I am no longer harboring the stress associated with feeling like I was running for my life with my child.

I can't lie—I didn't sleep last night.

But it wasn't because I was stressed.

It was closure.

It was peace.

I finally reached a place where I can say that I am no longer carrying the weight of what other people intended for me. Whatever someone thought they were putting into my life, I believe GOD has a way of turning it around.

Sometimes the people who think they are cursing you end up creating consequences for themselves.

GOD doesn't need my help.

My job is to stay ready.

And I am.

I'M BUILDING SOMETHING NEW

I am so excited to start networking in Las Vegas.

I am waiting on business cards.

I am registering for platforms.

I am training.

I am studying.

I am building relationships.

I am learning this market.

And I am preparing for the next level of my business.

My Sundays are eventually going to look very different.

I see myself at farmers markets in Summerlin, networking, meeting people, introducing them to my businesses, selling lemonade and fresh-pressed juices and not feeling like I have to be everywhere at once.

There is a difference between working yourself into exhaustion and building something strategically.

I moved to Las Vegas because this is a hospitality town.

Hospitality is in my DNA.

Food. Service. Events. Travel. Entertainment. Customer experience.

And now I am adding notary services, loan signing, Apostille services, fingerprinting, estate-planning support and RON to the picture.

I am not starting over.

I am putting pieces together.

STAY READY

The blackout reminded me of something important.

I don't know what you believe in, but GOD keeps telling me: STAY READY.

I don't ask a lot of questions anymore.

I listen.

During the blackout, my biggest concern wasn't fear.

It was:

“Lord, please don't let me lose all this food in my refrigerator!” 😂

Yes, it was hot inside.

But I know how to adjust.

I have learned how to survive uncomfortable circumstances.

And after watching what happened with residents in Gary, I was reminded that emergency preparedness isn't paranoia.

It's preparation.

So now I'm thinking differently about my next business investments.

I need equipment specifically for my lemonade and fresh-pressed juice operation.

I need a 100-quart cooler for my juices and lemonade when I am operating my pop-up tent.

I need reliable equipment for farmers markets and outdoor events.

And I know exactly what I DON'T want:

A gas-powered unit operating inside my home.

Safety matters.

Preparation matters.

Having a plan matters.

I am learning the difference between being scared and being prepared.

MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING!

My birthday is the first week of October.

And baby…

I am creating a NEW LOOK.

I spent the weekend watching Dolly Parton and crying. 😂

Sometimes you have to look at another woman living boldly and realize:

I want to live boldly too.

I have decided that I am going to design my body the way I want it.

And I am going to pay for it myself.

I am grown.

I don't need permission to decide what makes me feel beautiful, confident and comfortable in my own body.

I want a full mommy makeover—including a butt lift, liposuction and 36D breasts.

That's my vision for myself.

I'm not asking anybody to agree with it.

I'm not asking anybody to finance it.

I'm not asking anybody for permission.

I'm investing in ME.

Loving myself is a priority.

Having some fun is part of the plan.

Changing the narrative in my favor is the plan.

And if you think I'm not about to ENJOY this birthday…

You are absolutely WRONG!

😂😂😂

The Palms has an AYCE lobster tail and crab-leg buffet.

There's a movie theater.

And guess what?

I can afford to date myself.

That might be one of the greatest freedoms I have discovered.

I don't need to wait for somebody to take me somewhere.

I don't need somebody else to validate the experience.

I can take MYSELF to dinner.

I can go to the movies.

I can dress up.

I can celebrate.

I can look in the mirror and say:

“Girl, you made it.”

I AM PREPARING FOR MY NEXT HOME

I recently had a dream about a five-bedroom home near Summerlin.

And naturally, I woke up thinking:

“Okay, GOD… I hear You.”

😂

I'm already thinking about my next home office.

I'm preparing for another move toward the end of May.

I don't know exactly what that house will look like yet.

But I know what I want it to feel like.

Peaceful.

Organized.

Beautiful.

A place where I can work.

A place where I can cook.

A place where I can build.

A place where my businesses can grow.

A place where I can breathe.

Because after everything I have experienced, peace has become one of my greatest luxuries.

SO, WHAT ARE YOU HEARING?

This is a busy week.

My new contract begins today.

My businesses are moving.

My training continues.

My networking is beginning.

My birthday is approaching.

My body transformation is on my mind.

My farmers-market plans are developing.

My emergency-preparedness list is growing.

My refrigerator is full.

My cabinets are full.

My mind is full.

But my heart?

My heart is finally becoming peaceful.

I don't know what you believe.

I don't know what GOD sounds like to you.

I don't know what signs you have been seeing.

But I know what I keep hearing:

STAY READY.

Not scared.

READY.

Ready for the opportunity.

Ready for the blessing.

Ready for the phone call.

Ready for the contract.

Ready for the new client.

Ready for the next business relationship.

Ready for the next home.

Ready for the next chapter.

Ready for whatever GOD has been preparing me for.

So today, I am not asking GOD for a detailed explanation.

I'm simply saying:

“I hear You.”

“I'm listening.”

“I'm preparing.”

“And when You say MOVE… I'm ready.”

Now I want to know something from YOU:

What are you hearing?

What has been happening in your life that has made you stop, pay attention, and realize that you need to STAY READY?

Maybe this is your sign too.

STAY READY.

DATA CENTERS ARE DRAINING ENERGY!!!

"I pray you know how to pray for thy self"

I don't know who you know, you don't know who I know... I'm good with that

Why did all of the Pastors hide today?

I PRAY FOR THOSE WHO PRAY FOR ME
"I have not always been saved, thank you Jesus"
UNDERSTANDING: "That is why Chevy hid her children"

I Must Be About My Father’s Business

Sometimes people look at different chapters of my life and wonder how they all connect.

New Birth. Chicago. Los Angeles. Compton. The ministries. The people. The experiences. The things I survived.

For me, they are not random chapters. They are pieces of a story that has been unfolding for decades.

New Birth Was More Than a Church to Me

New Birth is where I worked as an Executive Sous Chef and leader in the Food Service Ministry. This is where I served Coretta Scott King, I hung out with Bernice King and served Bishop Long, his family and guests (that is how I met each Pastor, less Dates).

TD Jakes, Bishop Noel Jones, Bishop Clarence McClendon, and more.

But my involvement went far beyond the kitchen.

I was also a driver for the Mother’s Board, College Ministry, Step Team, and José Feed the Homeless Ministry.

I served wherever I believed I could be useful.

Food was one of my gifts, but service was bigger than food. I learned that ministry is not always about standing behind a pulpit. Sometimes ministry is preparing a meal. Sometimes it is driving somebody somewhere. Sometimes it is feeding someone who does not know where their next meal is coming from.

That period of my life shaped me.

Salem, Chicago and My Church Journey

Salem Baptist Church is my community church in Chicago.

Holy Name Cathedral is my home church.

And City of Refuge became one of the many churches I attended while I was living in Los Angeles between 2018 and 2020.

Those experiences may look different to someone looking from the outside, but my faith journey has never been confined to one building.

I have worshipped, served, learned and listened in many places.

Why Compton? Let Me Explain.

Compton has a very specific place in my personal history.

In 1984, before Debbie died, I was sent to Los Angeles for protection. My cousin Tony yes, the same Tony associated in my memories with "Training Day" was in Compton, and I stayed there with him.

That experience gave me an early familiarity with the community.

I later returned to Los Angeles in 1987 while working for a company called Austin Diversified Products (ADP), doing door-to-door work.

By then, I was already comfortable navigating the community.

Years later, I returned to Los Angeles again.

In 2018, while living in my car, Compton became one of the places where I stayed.

That chapter of my life is difficult to explain unless you understand the circumstances surrounding it.

I wasn't in Los Angeles on vacation.

I was trying to rebuild my life.

I was applying for opportunities in Inglewood, including 911 dispatch-related work, and pursuing opportunities involving background investigations in Santa Monica.

And yes, I spent time in Compton.

There is also a personal connection I have always associated with that period involving Dr. Dre and the people around him. My memories of that community made me feel that I was not completely alone while I was there.

I have my own story about how I came to know of Dre and his circle, and I understand that some parts of my story may sound unbelievable to people who were not there.

But I lived those experiences.

Then Nipsey Was Shot

While I was living in Los Angeles, I was living approximately two blocks from Nipsey Hussle's store.

Then Nipsey was shot.

I also remember an interaction in which he attempted to sell me an RV.

These are the kinds of moments that make my Los Angeles story difficult to summarize in a few sentences.

There are connections, circumstances and experiences that only make sense when you understand the timeline.

So when people ask me about Compton, Los Angeles, Dre, Nipsey, City of Refuge or the churches I attended, I cannot simply give them one sentence.

There is history behind all of it.

And Yes, There Is a Reason I Talk About Dr. Dre

I have been asked questions about why certain things happened, including why Dre performed at the Super Bowl.

I can tell you my perspective and my personal history, but I cannot claim to know another person's private motivations unless they have publicly stated them.

What I can say is that my years in Los Angeles, my time in Compton and the people I encountered there are part of my life story.

That's why I say:

Does that help you?

Maybe it does.

Maybe it helps explain why certain places and names mean something different to me than they might mean to someone else.

I Must Be About My Father's Business

At this point in my life, I have to stay focused.

I must be about my FATHER'S business.

That means I cannot spend my life trying to convince everybody to understand me.

I cannot apologize for every decision I make about where I worship, who I follow or whose ministry I support.

I do not support or follow Lisa.

That is not my job.

That is not my faith.

That is not my religion.

My responsibility is to God.

When Bishop Eddie Long died, I made a personal decision to continue following pastors and ministries where I had personally served and where I had personally fed people.

I remember the pastors I served.

I remember the people I cooked for.

I remember the ministries where I worked.

I remember the people who were hungry and the people who needed help.

Those experiences are real to me.

And I am not going to apologize for the path God has taken me through.

My Story Is Bigger Than One Church

New Birth is part of my story.

Salem is part of my story.

Holy Name Cathedral is part of my story.

City of Refuge is part of my story.

Chicago is part of my story.

Los Angeles is part of my story.

Compton is part of my story.

And every difficult season taught me something.

I have spent enough time trying to explain myself to people who were never there.

Now, I am focused on what comes next.

I have survived too much to become distracted by everybody else's expectations of who I should be.

I know what I have done.

I know where I have served.

I know what I believe.

And most importantly

I know who my Father is.

So, respectfully, I am going to keep doing what I believe I was called to do.

I MUST BE ABOUT MY FATHER'S BUSINESS.
