Additionally, I sustained an injury due to slipping on a hazardous, slippery substance left on the heavily soiled floors. Due to this injury, I was forced to leave the property before completing the cleaning and informed the clients accordingly.
Following my departure, Alexandra Ricketts posted a defamatory and false review on (removed) falsely accusing me of theft and failing to clean the home. As a direct result of this false report, Homeaglow deactivated my account and flagged me as a security risk, causing a significant loss of income and damage to my professional reputation.
Damages and Legal Demand
Your false accusations, defamatory statements, and negligence have caused me:
Loss of income due to account deactivation and client cancellations
Emotional distress and reputational damage from slanderous allegations
Physical injury sustained on your property due to hazardous conditions
As a result, I am seeking $5,000 in damages for:
Defamation and slander, which have harmed my business and credibility
Lost wages due to Homeaglow deactivating my account
Medical and injury-related damages from the unsafe conditions on your property
Cease and Desist Demand
You are hereby ordered to:
Retract all false complaints and statements made to (removed) and any other entities
Cease and desist any further defamatory remarks against me or my business
If I do not receive a response within 10 days, I will pursue legal action in small claims court to recover damages for defamation, lost wages, and personal injury.
Furthermore, given the information shared by one of your roommates regarding an "outstanding warrant in Switzerland," I strongly advise you to reconsider your conduct before making baseless accusations.
