I can hardly contain my excitement as I plan for an adventure that’s been a long time coming—my trip to Vatican City, Rome! I’ll be spending an entire week soaking up the rich history, culture, and energy of Italy before traveling on to Greece, France, and of course, Paris. I feel a mix of anticipation and gratitude for this opportunity to step away and experience the world in a way I haven’t in quite some time.
I’m not just going to unwind, though—I’m embarking on this journey with a clear purpose. Forgive me for being a bit selfish, but I am currently composing a book and filming a documentary that I hope will inspire others. I've hired a talented writer to assist me, and I’m in the process of securing a grant to cover my travel. This trip is part of my creative process, and I’m thrilled to witness it unfold.
One of the best parts? I’m leaving behind the noise—the depressing news, the endless cycle of television, and yes, even the less-than-kind encounters with fans who forget basic manners. It’s time for me to refocus and rejuvenate. For three days in Italy, I’ll be exploring museums, dining at wonderful restaurants, and simply taking in the breathtaking views that only a city like Rome can offer.
This sabbatical isn’t just a vacation, it’s a chance for me to release old energy and clear my mind. I’m giving myself the space to let go of what no longer serves me, making room for fresh inspiration and new beginnings.
