Truth is, I already know I am from personal experience.
As Kyle continued screaming at me, I was trembling. He said I could lose my job! And I was so confused. He was copied on the email Dr. Romano sent instructing me to fix all the errors before the auditors arrived. If he knew I wasn't supposed to do that, why didn't he say something when it could've made a difference?

I sat quietly with the phone held to my ear, as tears began to fall. I didn't know what to do to make things better, and I couldn't afford to lose my job. I was a single parent. I was mom & dad to my girls & my income was the only income we had.
Kyle cleared his throat. ❝What I'm trying to say is first you blame Malcolm for your failures. Now you're trying to blame me for your mistakes. Didn't nobody never teach you to own your actions?❞
