Taking a Leave of Absence: Choosing My Health, My Peace, and My Life
Over the past month, I’ve been quietly battling something far more important than business, obligations, or outside noise my health.
At the end of February, I experienced a serious health scare. My blood pressure reached 191/92, with symptoms that pointed toward the possibility of an early stroke.
Along with that came muscle movement issues, shortness of breath, and persistent chest pain. Those moments forced me to sit still and truly face something I’ve always pushed through my own limits.
For someone like me, slowing down doesn’t come easy. I’ve built my life on strength, independence, and resilience. But this… this is different. This is my body demanding that I listen.
And I am.
As I navigate this, I’ve also had to confront another reality ongoing stress that continues to disrupt my peace. Despite time passing, it has become clear that certain behaviors will not stop on their own. That understanding has pushed me to take action. I am actively seeking legal support here in Las Vegas to address the situation appropriately and put an end to what has become an unacceptable pattern.
I refuse to carry this into another year of my life.
This decision to take a leave of absence is not weakness it is necessary. It is intentional. It is me choosing to prioritize my well-being over everything else. Because without my health, none of what I’ve built matters.
To my clients, partners, and those who support me, I ask for your understanding and patience during this time. Please pardon this interruption as I take the time needed to heal, reset, and protect my peace.
I will return stronger, clearer, and better aligned not just in business, but in life.
Right now, the focus is simple:
Heal. Protect my energy. Reclaim my peace.
And that is exactly what I intend to do.
