To every woman who is exhausted...

To every woman who feels like life has knocked her down one too many times...

To every woman who is thinking about giving up because it feels like the people standing against her are bigger, louder, richer, or more powerful...

Read this.

In 1912, a teenage girl named Stephanie St. Clair arrived in New York with almost nothing. She was an immigrant from the French West Indies who spoke French, not English. She worked cleaning houses while learning a new language and trying to survive in a city that didn't make room for women like her.

She could have accepted the hand life dealt her.

She didn't.

Instead, she watched. She learned. She understood how power worked, and she quietly decided she would build a future on her own terms.

She went on to create one of Harlem's most successful businesses, earning the equivalent of millions of dollars today. But her greatest accomplishment wasn't the money.

It was her courage.

She stood up to corrupt police officers and publicly exposed them when most people were too afraid to speak. She stood up to one of the most feared gangsters in America—Dutch Schultz—when he demanded she surrender her business.

She refused.

He threatened her life.

She refused.

He tried to intimidate her.

She refused.

She had to hide to survive, but she never surrendered who she was or what she believed in.

Eventually, the man who tried to destroy her was gone, and she was still standing.

That is the lesson.

Strength isn't about never being afraid. It's about refusing to let fear make your decisions.

You may be tired. You may feel outnumbered. You may wonder if fighting one more day is worth it.

It is.

The people working against you don't get to write the ending of your story.

Keep standing.

Keep speaking.

Keep building.

Keep believing.

Because history has a way of remembering the people who refused to quit—even when quitting would have been easier.

Sometimes surviving is the greatest act of defiance.

And sometimes the woman everyone underestimated becomes the one they can never erase.

GRADUATION DAY!!!

ONE QUESTION... JUST ONE...

Why is Usher wearing a fur? and its 100 degrees outside???

R&B Tour Kickoff – Denver

The R&B Tour officially kicked off last night in Denver. Because I had homework to finish, I joined the concert a little later than I had planned. I started texting around 7:45 p.m., expecting Chris to take the stage around 8:00 p.m., only to realize Usher was performing first. While waiting, I was in the kitchen making a quiche for one of my culinary classes, so everything worked out perfectly.

I have to admit, I was deeply disappointed with Usher's performance—not because of his talent, but because it brought back memories that are personal to me. Yes, some of his music reminds me of my years at New Birth, but watching him also reminds me of Bishop Eddie Long. Because of that personal association, I probably won't watch his set as much as I enjoy watching Chris Brown perform.

Chris did exactly what Chris does best. After remaining in Las Vegas before flying to Denver, he took the stage with the energy, creativity, and professionalism fans have come to expect. I was especially impressed with the stage design. Every angle looked intentional, making the production feel immersive no matter where fans were seated. Major shout-out to the stage designers.

The sound was phenomenal as always. Credit to everyone working in the production booth—you could tell the audio team put in the work. The crowd loved every minute of it.

And to your "Peter Pan" team... you all have way too much fun flying Chris around the arena! It has become one of those signature moments that always gets the audience excited.

I do have just one question... okay, maybe two.

Why was Usher wearing a fur coat in 100-degree weather?

And Lance... (covering for Scottie)... why exactly did you cuff me to a bed? I know that hair!

Seriously though, Chris, you have assembled one of the most gifted production teams in the world. Every department—from staging and lighting to sound, choreography, and crew—helps create an unforgettable experience.

I tuned in during "Poppin'," and one thing I've always appreciated is that no two Chris Brown concerts are exactly the same. He customizes portions of his set list and performance based on the city, giving each audience its own unique experience. That's part of what keeps fans coming back.

As for me... no, I could never tour with him. I'd spend the entire time trying to deal with this smile on my face.

I'll chat with everyone later.

Class is calling.

"She was ready for her moment, baby girl took off her glasses, Okay!!!

Show went great going to bed now

Tell your fans to stop calling my name during your shows please
